Karaoke Contest For Little Jan’s Campaign!
On Friday, September 23, 6 p.m., come sing your heart out at Pebble Creek Golf Club (PCGC) and an event you won’t want to miss. The Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce (WCCC) has teamed together with Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Tampa Bay to host a local “Karaoke Show Down.” Featuring prizes for the top three competitors in the “under 18” and “over 18” age groups. Come enjoy great food and drinks in the newly remodeled PCGC banquet room and some great entertainment. Also, you’ll get to meet Honorary Mayor of Wesley Chapel candidate “Little Jan” Roberts. The cost to compete is $10.
Bowl For A Cause
Saturday, September 24, 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. Florida Medical Clinic and the Florida Medical Clinic Foundation of Caring will partner with Starting Right, Now to raise money for homelessness with an upcoming “Bowl for a Cause” fund raiser. Each lane may have up to four people bowling, so assemble a team, make a donation and/or become a lane sponsor. The Florida Medical Clinic Foundation of Caring will match whatever is raised, dollar for dollar, up to $20,000. Head to Pin Chasers at 6816 Gall Blvd., Zephyrhills, to make a difference while having fun.
WCH Golf Challenge
Sunday, October 1, 1 p.m.— Wesley Chapel High’s Athletic Booster Club invites you to take part in the 2nd annual Wildcat Golf Challenge, being held at Tampa Bay Golf and Country Club off S.R. 52 in nearby San Antonio, FL. Two Major Art Events On Tap October 15-16!
The weekend of Saturday-Sunday, October 15-16, check out two major artiriented events — one actually in Wesley Chapel and the other in Tampa Palms. From 10 a.m.-5 p.m. both days, the Wesley Chapel Fall Festival returns to The Grove at Wesley Chapel shopping plaza. In addition to a variety of Art and Crafts,the Wesley Chapel Fall Festival will also feature a Ronnie Setser Custom Car Show, WC Battle of the Wings contest, live entertainment, a beer garden, the Lil’ Mr & Miss Pumpkin Patch Contest, a pumpkin patch, hayrides and lots of children’s activities.
From 10 a.m.-4 p.m. both days, the Tampa Palms Women’s Club will host its 21st annual Arts and Crafts Under The Palms Craft Show & Sale for the first time at the Market Square in Tampa Palms shopping plaza, which is anchored by BJ’s Wholesale Club, southeast of the intersection of I-75 and Bruce B. Downs Blvd.
This exciting event will feature artists and crafters from all over Florida displaying their original works of pottery, jewelry, flowers, wood carvings and many other unique items.
